PILATES

 

Pilates is about training your body and muscles - but starting inwards with the core - then working outwards.  Finding and activating those deeper core muscles so often neglected during the typical abdominals training regime (usually poorly performed sit-ups) and using breath control and

precision.  The end goal isn't just to perform an exercise; it is to perform it correctly and precisely.

 

I was very fortunate to train in Pilates with the legendary Michael King and a great place to start my Pilates journey.  It is so rewarding to see people of all ages and abilities progress and get stronger.

 

We all have our strengths and weaknesses and in Pilates we can build on our strengths and tackle our weak points.

 

Ideal for men and women of all ages and abilities.  This is not a lay back and relax class but it will improve your mood and wellbeing and provides an amazing sense of achievement as you progress.

 

Pilates is an essential addition to anyone's training regime whether you are a newbie to exercise, seasoned runner, gym regular or even a competitive athlete.  Core strength, breath control, flexibility and mobility are ideal for any exercise or sport, as well as essential for healthly everyday living.

 

 

I am passionate about promoting Pilates as it is such a great way to get stronger, improve mobility, confidence and your posture.

 

My community classes are reasonably priced and suitable for all abilities as I want to ensure that everyone can access exercise.

 

I also offer Pilates personal training for those who prefer a tailored, one-on-one program or small group training.
